About
This is the blog of Blaine Cook. I’ve built various things around the web, and encourage you to dig deeper if you’re interested. Start with my photos, tweets, and code.
I’m currently involved with a bunch of projects, including but not limited to:
- Co-founder of Poetica.
- Trustee of the Awesome Foundation London Branch - if you’re doing something awesome, and need £1000 to help you along, send us your proposal!
- Tech advisor for Bethnal Green Ventures, a London incubator for social ventures.
- On-and-off standards advocate, mostly with the IETF and W3C. Having started the OAuth project, I’ve been involved in various capacities with identity and security standards projects since 2006.
I am sometimes available for freelance work if the project is a good fit with my interests, which are currently online publishing and new /open/ approaches to identity and social networking.
If you’d like to get in touch, you can try emailing me, but I’m not very good at email, so you’re better off getting me on instant messenger.
